Hear a word or a short sentence, then type its pinyin (tone marks or numbers, e.g. ni3 hao3) or pick the hanzi. A tone mode trains your ear for the four tones. Free for HSK 1–3.
About the audio
The audio is a computer voice (TTS). We have checked the tones and removed items that were read wrong, but a small slip is still possible. If the audio cannot load, your device's built-in voice is used instead, and its tones depend on that device. When in doubt, trust the pinyin shown in the answer.
